How it works
From the cards to the timeline, in three steps.
All inside DaVinci: no XML, nothing to import by hand.
Pick where it goes
A new timeline or the one you have open. If the clips were already on it, they are put back in order.
Press Build timeline
Each clip lands on its track at the time it was recorded, live, while the view zooms out so you see it all. Then the audio sync fine-tunes every camera.
What else it handles
The jobs you'd do by hand afterwards, done.
Audio sync
Fine alignment by listening to the audio. It fixes badly set clocks and clock drift on long days.
Colour labels
One colour per camera, so you can tell them apart without reading a single filename.
Close the gaps
Compress the dead time of the day, leaving a margin between blocks.
One track per clip
The layout music projects need, where every take has to be reachable at once.
Separate audio, in its place
The WAV from a camera or an external recorder lands on its own tracks, next to the video it belongs to.
Leave formats out
Whatever you tick (PNG, MP3, proxies...) is not imported or analysed.

What it needs, and how to get it running.
What it needs
- DaVinci Resolve Studio 20 or newer, the paid version. It does not work in the free version: Blackmagic only allows plugins in Studio, and the free version does not load them. If that is yours, the Windows app builds the day as an XML that DaVinci opens.
- Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). The Mac version is on its way.
- An internet connection to activate the licence and check it once a month.
Install and activate
- Download the installer and run it. If DaVinci was open, restart it.
- In DaVinci Resolve Studio, open Workspace › Workflow Integrations › Ingest Pro Resolve.
- After you buy, your key arrives by email: click the badge in the top right corner of the plugin, paste it and click “Activate”.

- Building again in the current timeline redoes the edit from the start: what was already placed from those clips is removed (your own cuts are left alone), and photos and excluded formats no longer stay scattered in front.
- Without internet it keeps working for up to 30 more days after the monthly licence check.
- Security improvements: the licence key no longer stays in the temporary folder.
