Cookie policy
What is stored in your browser, and why
This English text is provided for convenience. The binding version of this document is the Spanish one, available at ingest-pro.com; in case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
This site uses very few cookies. The only ones that are not essential are the usage statistics. If you visit from the European Union, the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, they are not loaded unless you expressly accept them.
You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings, in the footer of any page.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. Alongside cookies there are other local storage technologies that serve the same purpose and fall under the same rules; this document covers all of them.
Necessary cookies
These make the site work and remember your own decisions. They are exempt from consent under article 22.2 of the LSSI, so they cannot be switched off.
- __Host-ingest_session — first-party cookie. It only exists if you sign in to My account: it keeps you signed in. Lifetime: 30 days, or until you sign out.
- idioma-elegido — first-party local storage (localStorage). It only exists if you pick a language in the footer, so that choice is respected on later visits. It stays until you clear your browser data.
- idioma-pais — first-party session storage (sessionStorage). Stores which language to show you based on the country you connect from (Spanish in Spanish-speaking countries, English elsewhere), so it is not looked up on every page. It is cleared when you close the tab.
- cookies-aviso — first-party session storage (sessionStorage). Stores whether the cookie notice applies in the country you connect from, so it is not looked up on every page. It is cleared when you close the tab.
- ingestpro_cookies — first-party local storage (localStorage). Stores your decision about this very policy, so the notice does not reappear on every visit. It stays until you clear your browser data.
- tema-elegido — first-party local storage (localStorage). It only exists if you pick the light or dark theme in the footer, so that choice is respected on later visits; choosing "System" removes it. It stays until you clear your browser data.
Analytics cookies
In the European Union, the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland they are only switched on if you press “Accept all” or enable them under “Configure”. Until you do, the script is not even loaded. Elsewhere, where the law does not require prior consent for aggregated statistics, they are on by default and no notice is shown; you can switch them off at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer.
- Vercel Web Analytics — third party (Vercel Inc.). Provides aggregated statistics on page views and traffic sources. It does not identify individual visitors and does not build advertising profiles.
- Vercel Speed Insights — third party (Vercel Inc.). Measures how long each page takes to load (aggregated technical performance metrics). It does not identify individual visitors.
Our own visit count, without cookies
In addition, each page tells our own server that it has been opened, with three pieces of data: the page, where the visit came from (for example, Instagram or a search engine) and the country the server infers. It is used only to count how many pages are being viewed at any moment. It uses no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, collects no IP address or identifier, and cannot follow anyone from one page to another: it is the same information any server records when serving a page. The counts are kept in aggregate and deleted after 40 days.
Other third-party services
Some pages load third-party resources needed for specific features. They are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking:
- Lemon Squeezy — the checkout script, on pages with a purchase button. It is essential in order to pay, and this provider may set its own cookies during checkout, under its own privacy policy.
- Instagram — only if a page embeds a post. Playing it may cause Meta to set its own cookies.
No advertising, no profiling
This site carries no advertising cookies, no ad networks, no third-party tracking pixels and no commercial profiling tools. We do not sell or share browsing data with third parties.
How to withdraw or change your choice
- From the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of any page, at any time.
- By clearing this site's data in your browser, which resets the notice to its initial state.
- From your browser settings, which allow cookies to be blocked generally. Bear in mind that blocking the necessary ones may affect how the site works.
